An oldie, but goodie!
This is one of the very first commercial spots we produced here at Balance Studios - way back in 2001!! This is timeless and make us giggle each time we watch it so wanted to continue to share it. We must however apologize for the low quality resolution - there was not high res 4K productions back in the good ole days. This is the old Standard Definition 720 x 480...Yikes!
As one of the Midwest's largest fishing retail outlets, the store was
looking for a clever way to attract new clientele and increase sales.
Balance's first thought was, 'why not let the products speak for
themselves'…literally! With that, the director and animation team went
to work creating an underwater environment where the fishing lures did
all the talking. The best part, this commercial was able to 'cut
through' the broadcast clutter as demonstrated through increased
traffic, sales, and customer telling the staff they saw the spot.
