An international education system based in Sendai Japan, GrapeSEED, embarked on a world changing journey of creating a 40 level, advanced, English As A Second Language Curriculum to be sold world wide. 

This unique curriculum focuses on teaching kids more quickly than regular curriculum by immersing them through songs and pictures, chants and stories, speaking and listening through incorporating print, video, audio, and animation.

Having a long standing relationship with GrapeSEEDs parent companies, Balance Studios was brought into the curriculum development to the lead concept artists and animation teams for the animated storybooks.      

The Balance creatives, concept artists, design, animation, and post-production teams were given the creative autonomy to concept, design, and produce the animated stories based on each levels introduction storybooks. The goal of each animated storybook was to emphasize and reinforce the core learning objectives of each curriculum level.

This was a dream come true! Each animated story showcases unique animation styles from limited 2D animated Snippets to full blown 3D animation.
